When they go inside they discover that their friend, Bunnicula, is missing. The next day they decide to roam around town hoping to find their lost friend. Opinion
I like this entire series. I especially like that each story centers on a different adventure. The author takes the characters to many interesting places, including into town as well as on a garbage truck. I laugh hysterically at most of Chester's humorous escapades and I love that the author added a new character, Howie. Actually, it turns out that he's my favorite character. I do hope you will give this fantastic book a try. I think you will really enjoy it.

Howliday Inn by James Howe (195 pages)
Summary
The Monroes go on vacation and they can't take Harold or Chester, so they bring them to Chateau Bow-Wow. Chester feels that it should be called Howliday Inn. The first night that they are there they hear a frightening howl. On the third morning they find that one of the dogs is missing. Chester thinks somebody murdered the dog. Can they find out who is the murderer before it's too late?
Opinion
At first I thought this book was a little confusing, but the more I read the more I understood it. I had a good laugh at some of the parts. The author really does have a great sense of humor. It took me awhile to figure out who the culprit was, but when I discovered who it was, I was definitely astonished. I hope you will give this amazing book a read.

Spring According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney (143 pages)
Summary
Winter is almost over and Spring is on it's way. Humphrey, the classroom hamster, and his exciting human classmates can't wait for Family Fun Night. Every weekend Humphrey helps a new student in his class and he often wonders if he has a family of his own.
Opinion
I am going to give this book 4 stars because I especially like the fact that Humphrey is actually telling the story. I also like that he has adventures outside of his cage thanks to his "lock-that-doesn't-lock." You might enjoy this this book, if you like animals.
